Entry will be a photo spamming one because really, it's just going to be all about vivid.
Some I might have descriptions of, others... nup.
After having a really good dinner at Dan's House, icie and I took a bus down to the Rocks from Central station and stopped right in the middle of it. This was our first location.
Could probably tell, the ground's a little wet because it was raining the day before. Actually, throughout vivid, most of the days were raining... but when we went that time, it was ok, just damp grounds. This was the police lights that changes whenever someone walked amidst it.
A floating metal thingy!
This was supposed to be purple. Stanley somehow made it blue =(
An interactive wall that moves when there's movement detected.
Those colourful blobs are actually people.
Oh yea forgot to mention. Misused a lot of tilt shift effect in most my vivid photos... because I feel like I've underused it a lot ever since getting Stanley... and this was actually not where it should be, this graffiti thing. It moved around.
At Argyle, they were called Flocking Birds, by Jon Voss, replicating "the form, elegance and implied freedom of massive numbers of flocking starlings as they create beautiful fluid shapes and shadows in the sky." There are 200 of them, 24 carat gold plated stainless steel birds, and they are all different.
Each showed a different form of flight.
I never quite got the point of this one until I visited it again.
Headed to the tunnel. Last year was a massive disappointment because they didn't do anything to it! Such a waste, because when they do light this tunnel up, it looks amazing.
Look at that! It's so beautiful! I love himawari!!
Came back down the other way and noticed... the birds make such quaint shadows.
One more! Cos the golden light reflection is so pretty!
There is actually heaps more of vivid, but shall do more photo dumping tomorrow.
